This is what punk is for me- loud and aggressive, sure, but I can’t stray far from melody and hooks. These guys excelled at both.  Husker Du was a 1980s force out of Minneapolis whose influence you can hear all over the place in ensuing acts. Turn on the News could not be more relevant, no?
